Livability Netteswell Rectory in Essex is picturesque residential care home for a 9 adults with mild/moderate learning disabilities. We are in a quiet location, yet town is easily accessible within 10 minutes.

People that live at Livability Netteswell have a lot of individual choice, with active support from staff.

The service takes a person centred, flexible approach. We know that everyone’s needs and aspirations are different and that all sorts of things add up to a flourishing life. Together, with the people that use our services, we create bespoke care plans that support personal goals and needs. People are encouraged to participate in all decision-making relating to their own care and well-being. Active support is employed to ensure consistent support, involvement and achievement.

Community activities and connections

With an active network of supporting services and community partners, people that live at Livability Netteswell Rectory enjoy opportunities to pursue a wide range of recreational activities, including gardening, sports and fitness.

The home is well situated, within easy reach of the town centre offering a range of local amenities within easy reach: a leisure centre, the theatre, shopping and more. The area is served by a good train service, with train lines leading in to London and surrounding area.

    Our accessible and spacious environment provides modern facilities, communal and individual spaces for people that live at the home. Our facilities provide a homely feel with some fun communal areas ñ our residents love playing pool in our games room or getting active in the large garden.

    • 1 studio apartment
    • Large outdoor and garden spaces with accessible walk ways
    • Self-decoration of rooms – residents can choose their preferred colour scheme
    • 3 communal accessible kitchens
    • 3 communal lounges with TV, video and music system
    • 3 communal bathrooms and level access showers
