Welcome to Livability Treetops. We are a high dependency residential care home providing 24 hour nursing and personal care for mainly younger disabled adults.
People at Livability Treetops have a wide range of individual choice, enabled by active support from staff. The service takes a person-centred, flexible approach. We know that everyone’s needs and aspirations are different – that all sorts of things add up to a flourishing life.
Together, with the people that use our services, we create co-produced care plans that support personal goals and needs. People are encouraged to participate in all decision-making relating to their own care and wellbeing.
Our nurses and support staff are highly trained, and are on hand to help. Their knowledge is second to none – we’ve looked after people with many different complex needs over the year. If you are considering Treetops, we look forward to welcoming you for a visit.

About the home
We ensure that people who use the service are involved in shaping their care by insuring that the individual is at the core of all assessments and plans of care and that choice and empowerment are actively promoted. We reflect upon and improve our service through listening and acting on complaints and comments received from residents, their representatives or visitors to the unit.
We ensure that all residents are protected against the risk of abuse or harm whilst respecting their human rights through effective care planning and risk assessment. All staff have training to enable them to respond promptly and correctly to any safeguarding concerns.
We work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team, other providers and agencies to ensure that our residents receive a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led service.
Our dedicated and professional team are carefully chosen for their skills and compassion. They have extensive experience of empowering people to live well and receive training on our specific client group to enable those living at Treetops to achieve their goals.
We provide training around our client group so staff are able to assist the clients to achieve their goals and wishes, multidisciplinary team meetings and outside agencies also help to meet the clients aims and goals.

I love everything about working here – having a laugh with residents, taking them out, seeing we’re making a difference.
Church is important to me. I do sermons at church. I like to preach because I can really help people. My friends from church come here.
Treetops is very homely and caring – visitors often compliment us.
Our home is guided by Livability’s core values. We strive to be open, enabling, inclusive and courageous in all that we do.
Co-production is woven throughout our service provision. Co-produced care plans and service delivery are central to our approach.
Person centred, flexible approach
Together, with the people we support, Livability puts the person at the centre of their care planning. We help individuals work out what their care needs are, choose the support they want and have control over their life. We know that everyone’s needs and aspirations are different – that all sorts of things add up to living well.
Community connections that grow health and wellbeing
We work to create connections that help people thrive. Research shows that personal health and wellbeing does better when people enjoy supportive networks. We support the people that use our services to follow their interests, get involved with activities in their community and pursue the life they want to lead.
Valuing people and working with strengths
We help people by looking at what they have, rather than what they lack. This approach helps people make use of their existing skills, knowledge and relationships.
Livability has a broad and inclusive Christian ethos. We support people of all faiths and none. We believe in the equality and unique value of every person, supporting them to discover and fulfil their potential.
A culture of continuous improvement
Livability strives to deliver services of the highest quality and constantly seek to improve through listening, reflection, learning and action.
